Infiniti Q50 Updates
Infiniti Q50 is available in multiple variants in the UAE market and starts from AED 153,000. This sedan comes powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine that makes 300 hp of power at 6400 rpm and 400 Nm of torque between 1600-5200 rpm. The engine comes paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission gearbox. Standard features include dual-zone climate control, keyless entry, engine start/stop button, cruise control, heated seats, etc. BMW 3 Series sedan, Audi A5 Sportback and Audi A6 are some of the competitors of the Q50 in the UAE market.
Infiniti Q50 Expert Review
The Infiniti Q50 is a luxury sedan from the Japanese car giant, available in five trim levels with a choice of four engines, in a single automatic dual-clutch gearbox. These variants, namely-Q50 LUXE 2.0T, Q50 LUXE 3.0T, Q50 Sport, Q50 RED SPORT 400 and Q50 Blue Sport are priced at AED 152,250, AED 178, 500, AED 195,500, AED 218,250 and AED 230,500 respectively. Colour options available on the Infiniti Q50 range include Pure White (QAW), Moonlight White (QAB), Liquid Platinum (K23), Graphite Shadow (KAD), Hagane Blue (RBP), Mocha Almond (CAS), Dynamic Sunstone Red (NBA), Iridium Blue (RAY), Midnight Black (CAG) and Black Obsidian (KH3). Proportionally, the sedan measures 4,810 mm long and 2,084 mm wide (including mirrors).
Visually, it receives signature styling elements seen in other Infiniti models, with some additional chrome bits to add to its premium looks. The face is marked by long and low slung bonnet, featuring sculpted lines. There is a quintessential Infiniti mesh grille in front enclosed with a thick chrome band. Headlamps are pulled-back and infuse aggression to the face. The lower side of the bumper sports fog lamps with integrated LED daytime running lights on the blacked-out housings, along with other bits such as air-intakes and side skirts, both finished in black. Styling at the sides is highlighted by the bold shoulder line, sharp contours, meaty alloy wheels, sloping roofline, and narrow window frame. The raked in windscreen flows smoothly into the boot lid with sculpted elements and wrap-around tail-lamps that are connected through a bold chrome band. Also, it features exhausts at both ends, a blacked-out strip placed just above the body-colored undertray.
The four-door sedan sits on a long wheelbase that ensures ample room inside the cabin to seat five full-sized adults comfortably with snug headroom, shoulder-space and knee room at both ends. INFINITI’s IntouchTM 8-inch and 7-inch dual LCD VGA touchscreens with bluetooth connectivity for audio streaming and mobile connectivity, USB/iPod connectivity, voice recognition, etc. are layered inside. Aside from this, it also packs active lane control, active trace control, active noise control, dynamic digital suspension, I-Key with smart access, trunk release, and enhanced memory. Dynamic digital suspension and regenerative brakes system are also part of the pack. A dual-zone adaptive climate control with auto-recirculation, leather seat facings sports, Infiniti drive mode selector and ISOFIX seat mounting points in the rear seats are some of the other features that can be availed based on the variants.
As for the Infiniti Q50 specifications, it is available with a 2.0-litre, 3.0-litre and 3.5-litre petrol engines. The 3.0-litre unit is calibrated to put out power in two tunes-300 hp and 400 hp. While the 2.0-litre engine makes 208 hp, the 3.5-litre motor belts out 350hp of top power. All these engines are paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. On the safety front, it gets tyre pressure monitoring system, 6 airbags, hill start assist, cruise control, brake assist, rear view camera, parking sensors, approach vehicle sound for pedestrians, reminder for seat belts and vehicle security system with engine immobilizer and alarm.
